Kateri is a Tucson-based artist and middle school educator committed to spaces where curiosity, expression and advocacy thrive. Inspired by the resilience of the Sonoran Desert she works primarily with watercolor. She hopes this protest piece can serve as an example of both the stark beauty of the desert and the inherent resistance of all that dwells here.
